Meet Our Staff

Rob is the youngest child of one of Brau Motors' founders, Norb Brau. Rob has worked at Brau Motors his entire life. He started sweeping the floor of the dealership for his father at age 5 and continued to work weekends and summers all the way through high school and college years. After graduating from the University of MN - Carlson School of Management in 1992 with three business degrees, Rob was offered the opportunity to buy into the family business. Rob took the opportunity and started the process of buying into the dealership in 1992. He feels privileged he was able to work alongside his father, Norb, until Norb's passing in 2013, and his oldest brother, Bruce, until Bruce's passing in early 2020. Rob, his wife, Angie, their three children, continue to run the dealership to this day.

Adam has been a valued employee of Brau Motors since March of 2020. Adam has worked in the auto-industry in many areas including sales, service, and accounting. Adam is fantastic at managing the service dept. and assisting our customers. He also helps with duties in our accounting dept. - doing a wonderful job in this area as well. In his free-time he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and watching sports. He and his wife reside in Arlington with their four children.

Mike has been a valued employee of Brau Motors since January of1996. Mike is great at electrical work involved in vehicles! Mike grew up in Dawson, MN. He was trained formally in the industry at Canby Vo-Tech. Mike and his wife currently live in Winthrop and have two boys.

Tyler has been a valued employee of Brau Motors since August of 2011. One thing we like about Tyler (in addition to being great at his job!) is his wonderful sense of humor! Raised in northern MN (Brainerd and Pine River), Tyler moved to the Arlington area in 2010. Tyler likes to work on old trucks, ice-fish, and do woodworking in his free-time. Tyler and his wife currently live in Lester Prairie, MN.

Nick is a native of Mayer, MN where he currently still resides. He is a graduate of Central High School. Nick's passion in life is working on cars and anything related to vehicles. When he is not working on an automobile, he enjoys his hobbies of hunting, fishing and target-shooting! Some fun trivia about Nick is that he used to ride horses and has participated in rodeos in the past!

Chad has been a valued employee of Brau Motors since August of 2011. Chad helps our customers with all of their parts needs with respect and a positive attitude! He and his wife reside in Gaylord and have four daughters. In his free-time he enjoys going to the races, and hanging out with his lovely girls!

Mark has been at Brau Motors since December of 2020. He brings over 30 years of expertise in Finance and Insurance to our team. Mark is not only very knowledgeable, but is also extremely good at communicating the financial aspects of vehicle deals to customers. He was born and raised on the east side of St. Paul. He and his wife currently reside in Waconia, MN and have one son. In his free tome he can be found cheering for his MN sports teams, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and in front of his grill or smoker!

Dave has been a valued employee of Brau Motors in two phases, first from 1990-1999 and again from 2007-today! Dave is exceptional at body work and has a true "eye" for the job. He and his wife have three children and three grandchildren. In his free-time, Dave enjoys backyard-patio time, gardening, and bird-watching. He and his wife can frequently be seen riding their Goldwing, enjoying motorcycle adventures. The only thing he and he wife enjoy more than all of the aforementioned activities is spending time with their three wonderful grandchildren!

Angie came to Brau Motors as an 'official' employee in January of 2021. Until that point she had supported all of the endeavors of Brau Motors behind the scenes as she's been married to owner, Rob, since 1999. Angie holds a degree in Dental Hygiene and worked as a hygienist in Norwood, MN for 21 years. In 2018 she went back to school and got a degree in Interior Design and worked at a design/build firm for 2 years. Upon the sudden death of Bruce Brau (co-owner of the dealership with Rob at the time) in Feb. of 2020 Angie decided that it was time to work alongside Rob and run the dealership. She loves the creative and inter-personal aspect of her new career in the automotive industry. Angie loves to volunteer at her children's schools, watch sports, event-plan, and go out for coffee/lunch/dinner with friends! Angie considers her three amazing children her greatest blessings.

Leyton is the oldest child of owners Rob & Angie Brau. He is proud to represent the third generation of Brau's at the dealership! Leyton is a 2021 graduate of MVL High School. In 2025 he graduated from the U of MN - Twin Cities' Carlson School of Management. Leyton enjoys all things sports-related and follows all MN sports teams and more! In the summer when he is not playing baseball you will find him enjoying time at the lake!
